Hello! Nichol here today with a large gift tag showcasing the new Window Watching Dies with the Reindeer Games Stamps and and coordinating dies and Jingle Greetings. This oversized tag is perfect for tying onto a package or even adhering to a card base.
To create the tag, I die cut the large tag from the SSS Fog Cardstock using a Tags A Lot Creative Cuts Die. I stamped a greeting from the Jingle Greetings Stamp Set along the bottom of the tag with Versamark Ink and heat embossed the greeting with Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing Powdeer.
I die cut the window from SSS Slate Cardstock using the Window Watching Creative Cuts Die. I cut three of these and adhered them one on top of another for a bit of dimension. I die cut the top portion of the window from SSS Black Cardstock and folded it along the score lines.
For the background, I trimmed a rectangle of white cardstock slightly smaller than the frame and stamped the skyline from the Reindeer Games Stamp Set along the bottom edge. I created a mask for the skyline and inked the "sky" with Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink. I added "snow" to the sky with the snow stamp from the Twinkle Towns Stamp Set and white pigment ink. I colored in the skyline with Coipc Markers.
I stamped the reindeer on smooth white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored in the image with Copic Markers, then added detail to the eyes with the Sakura Black Glaze Pen and Glossy Accents for the nose. I adhered the reindeer to the background and adhered the window over the sky panel. I used the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen over the skyline.
The hole reinforcement was die cut from SSS Lipstick Red Cardstock using aTags A Lot Creative Cuts Die and adhered to the top of the tag. I threaded some twine through the top to finish the design.
I think it would be fun to make up a bunch of these and have them ready for gift wrapping come December! Thanks for joining me today!
