Guest Designer: Suzy Plantamura

Hi, Suzy Plantamura back today with a Guest Blog post using two new Mama Elephant stamp sets. I have two cards using Organic Blooms and a card and a tag using the Cub Cuddles to share with you. 

 

For this first card, I stamped Organic Blooms using Versamark ink and white embossing powder. I watercolored the images using corals, yellows, and greens. I painted the background around the flowers with a shimmery watercolor paint. I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock and added it and some large sequins to finish it.

 

This card also uses the gorgeous Organic Bloom stamp set. This time I embossed the design with purple shimmery embossing powder. I watercolored the image using blues, purples, and pinks. I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock and added that and some sequins in both corners. I added a white frame around the blooms using the Framed Tags die set. 

I have five more cards on my blog using this same set with different coloring methods as well that I shared during the ME Stampede.  

 

I love these adorable bears in Cub Cuddles and had so much fun working with this stamp set! I decided to create a black bear family with a mom, a dad, and two kids. I used the Landscape Trio die set to create the clouds and grass. I rubbed Distress Inks on the grass and the background for a sky. I used no-line stamping for my bears and balloons on the card. In this scene, little baby bear let his balloon go, so he climbed on dad's back to try and catch it. 

Last, I created this little tag using the Cub Cuddles stamps. The two tags I layered are die-cut from the Framed Tags set and then watercolored. I also watercolored a baby bear, a little teeny bird, and a pinwheel and attached them to the tag front. I stamped happy birthday and added some twine.
