Hello everyone! This is Pamela on the blog with a project for Mama Elephant's October release! Hope you've enjoyed all the product introductions and the stamp highlights for the past month or so!
Today, I made a simple Christmas card using the stamp set City Sidewalks, definitely one of my favourites from the release (PS, my other favourite is Pix's Holidays!)
I started blending a combination of blue, turquoise and light yellow for a very simple sky. To create the stars, I flicked some water so that the distress inks would react to the water. I also flicked some white ink onto the card base for stars.

I coloured the buildings in some very basic colours using my copics. I picked pink, turquoise and yellow since they were related to the primary colours and would contrast nicely against each other.

I finished the card off by adhering the trees on both sides of the building. To create some dimensions, I gave some foam tape to the trees in front. Finished off with a simple yet fun sentiment from the same stamp set as well as the smokey "Merry" coming out from the chimney!
Thanks for stopping by!
