Pix's Happy Holiday with Nichol

Hello friends! Nichol here today with a new Designer Series card. I paired the new Birch Trees Dies with the adorable Pix's Happy Holiday Stamps and Dies for this winter shaker scene card.

Unspecified-1

I inked a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" rectangle of smooth white cardstock with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. The Birch Trees were die cut from smooth white cardstock and inked with Antique Linen Distress Ink. Some of the trees were adhered to the inked background and then I added a vellum layer over the background before I adhered more trees. I die cut a border from smooth white cardstock using a Landscape Trio Die and adhered it to the background.

I stamped two of the bunnies and a tree from the Pix's Happy Holiday stamp set on smooth white cardstock using black ink and colored the images with Copic Markers. I die cut the images with the coordinating Pix's Happy Holiday Dies and adhered them to the background scene.
I applied two layers of foam adhesive around all four sides of the shaker background and filled the shaker with Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear and Silver Shimmer Seed Beads.

Unspecified-2

I die cut a frame for the shaker using the Park Avenue frame die and backed the frame with a piece of transparency. I stamped the transparency with a greeting from the Season's Greetings Stamp Set using white StazOn Ink. I added the frame to the shaker and then adhered the shaker to the front of a side fold card base.

  1. Just PRECIOUS!!!!! I love how you shaded the images, too. This is possibly the cutest I've seen in a long time. :)
