DIY Invitation with Amy

Hello everyone! Amy here today to share a few projects I made featuring Invitation Wishes and DIY Invitation stamp sets. They pair perfectly together to help you create an array of invitations and/or save the date cards. I made the projects simple and easy, so you can mass produce it. It's also flat for easy shipping.

For the first project, I used the Pretty Peonies stamp set.

To begin, I die-cut watercolor paper using the large cross-stitch border die from Sew Fancy Creative Cuts. Then, using the Misti stamping tool (this is essential if you're going to make multiple cards at once), I stamped the flowers using Antique Linen Distress Ink for no-line coloring.

I used a masking technique for the flowers (luckily, I had the masking paper already cut from a different project) in the top left corner of the card. I used Zig Clean Color Real Brushes to do some quick coloring. Next, I lightly distressed the background with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Inks, even going over the flowers. Once everything was dried, I stamped the sentiment "You're Invited" from the Invitation Wishes set with Versamark Ink and heat set gold embossing powder.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the words with the lines from DIY Invitation using a Misti. Then, I stamped the "Bridal Shower" and the flower using pink dye ink.

For the next project, I made some cute children's invitations using the Little Girl Agenda and Little Boy Agenda stamp sets. It's a fun way to invite children over for play dates.

To create the front panel, I die-cut five smooth white cardstocks with the large frame from Lafayette Creative Cuts. This was to add the beautiful stitched detailing. Then, I colored the borders with Copic markers, just to add more interest and color. Next, I stamped "You're Invited" using the Misti on all five front panels. I decided to create different invitations (see picture below). How cute is the little girl with the hand on her mouth with the matching "Shh, It's A Surprise"?!

For the inside of the card, I used the same layout as my previous project, but I added the little girl holding the "Hi" sign. I colored all the images with Copic markers.

To finish, I adhered the front panels to the front of the top folding card bases.

Thank you for stopping by!
