Hello, crafty friends! Thi here and today I am sharing a card that features the beautiful Peonies in Bloom stamp set. These are possibly my favorite blooms and I was so excited to play with these gorgeous images!
Let's begin! I started as I usually do by coloring my images. Today I played with my Arteza brush pens. I love to watercolor flowers to give them a soft, organic look. After I finished coloring, I die cut with coordinating dies and set aside.
For the background, I die cut the large frame from Sky Bursters - Creative Cuts out of colored card stock. This is such a pretty and versatile die set. I have already made a number of cards using this and can see many more to come.
I then ink blended a background with some Distress Oxide in Dried Marigold and stamped the "Hello Gorgeous" sentiment from Scripty Notes onto it.
To assemble the card, I mounted foam tape on the back of the teal oval frame and adhered it to the ink blended piece. Lastly, I arranged the flowers on top and finished my card with a few clear droplets.
And that's it - my card is finished! I hope you enjoyed my project today and thank you for stopping by!
Beautiful card! :)
