Mama Elephant Celebrating 7 Years... begins NOW!

Hi all! Welcome back to the Mama Elephant blog! We are so excited you are here!

We hope you had a great Summer! Are you ready to dive into our latest and greatest release? September is a special one as we are celebrating 7 awesome years of designs and creativity with you all! As we look back at 7 years, we cannot forget all the friendly faces that made it possible. So many of you have been with us since the early years! It does feel repetitive as I write this every year, but it must be said again and again.... thank you for 7 wonderful years!

This upcoming year we'll try our best to bring you fun and fresh new designs that will spark creativity and joy in your every day lives. I love how we crafters have a special bond -- we are connected in our creative spirits, our willingness to share and spread handmade kindness, our appreciation of unique and original art and designs, and our support for all fellow artists. You, as a crafter, are absolutely an artist also! Let's continue to celebrate the artist in all of us for many more years!

Without our Design Team, our designs would merely just be photopolymer stamps on a clear acetate backing sheet. We love all our designers past and present who bring our designs to life, making our characters shine with just ink and cardstock!

Allow me to introduce and thank our current Team of Designers once more... I would usually ask the girls to send me a bio of themselves, copy and paste it here, but I thought I'd do it a bit differently this time.


Mette Witus
Mette is the newest addition of our team. We first noticed Mette on Instagram, where her feed is sprinkled with tons of Mama Elephant goodness! We can spot a die hard fan when we see one! What really grabbed our attention was her creative use of our images, stretching them beyond the designs. She would create all these intricate little scenes that absolutely made our jaws drop to the floor. So cute and clever! We are so happy to have Mette on our team!

Thi Lam
I remember when we first invited Thi onto our team, she was just the cutest - in absolute disbelief that we had chosen her amongst so many other great cardmakers! At the time, I assured her that she was and is fantastic! We have very high standards that she has indeed met! Her cards are soft spoken with a punch! As we have progressed with time, I can see that my initial impression of Thi was spot on. I am so proud to see her gain recognition in this industry as a top designer! So thrilled we will meet Thi at our NYC party soon!

Keeway Tsao
Keeway is a rare gem of sunshine and talent. She has been on our radar for ages, and when a spot opened up she was the number one choice! Not only is Keeway talented and one of the most sought after designers in the industry period (you can fight me), but she has one of the kindest hearts ever. She has always offered her time and efforts whenever we were in need. I truly appreciate people who reach out and go beyond to make others feel valued. Such selflessness, that's really how I see Keeway. We are so excited to meet her in person at our NYC party as well and make some memories together!

Amy Yang
Amy has always floored us with her beautiful cards. We are lucky to have her on our team creating so many wonderful projects for you all as inspiration! Amy is one of those amazing and reliable designers who never disappoints - always on time, always spot on with bringing the images to life. How can everything she create be so darn awesome? As a New Yorker, we hope to meet Amy soon too!

Vera Rhuhay
Vera has bene on our team for a few years now and she never fails to blows us away! She is one of those artists that go above and beyond her call of duty. I especially love her journaling projects that she creates on the sides. They are so inspiring and up-lifting. One thing that made me smile is how Vera recreated our digital sneak peek using the actual stamps and dies. Just another example of how she really gives it all and still makes us feel like she is still head over heels in love with our designs. It's really encouraging! Thank you so much, Vera! You don't know how much that means to us.


Rina Galit
Rina was brought on to help alleviate my personal workload. Since I suffer from severe carpal tunnel syndrome, crafting really takes its toll on my hands. Plus we were looking for someone to helm our YouTube channel. What we got in Rina was much more than we bargained for -- she's the whole package! Not only are her cards gorgeous, but her persona that shines through in the videos is just downright infectious. I've come to know Rina a bit via our chats, and she is as sweet as she seems on video! Such an amazing, beautiful soul! Now I can safely say that Rina is truly an integral part of the ME family, we can't be without her!

Nichol Spohr
Nichol has been with us since the first year. When she accepted the invitation, it was like the heavens opened up -- complete jackpot!!! We have always admired her work from afar so imagine the happiness we felt when she officially came on board. Always so professional and detailed with her work, Nichol is consistently AMAZING! She creates a zillion cards along with high quality videos on her Youtube channel. Each card seems to get better and better! What can we say, we are just so fortunate to have such a skilled and awesome designer and friend on our team!
