Hi friends! It's Keeway here today. All the little agenda sets always make me so happy to color and work with and this month's release of the Little Penguin Agenda brought me so much joy! Another really fun product that came out this month is the Snail Mail Creative Cuts and the combination of these two make the most adorable card for our cardmaking friends out there!
The first I did was stamp the penguins from the Little Penguin Agenda set in dark brown hybrid ink and color them with copic markers. I then proceeded to die cut them all out with the matching creative cuts. There are so choices from this set that it is definitely not exclusive to holiday cards, so you can use these little guys all year long!
The next step is to build this happy mail scene and I used the Snail Mail CC to die cut the mail box and a couple little letters. The mail box was die cut out of blue card stock and gently ink blended with a Chipped Sapphire distress oxide ink, then heat embossed with a sentiment from Handcrafted Happiness. The little envelopes were die cut out of white card stock and gently blended with some Antique Linen distress oxide ink and also colored in with a copic markers.
Again, I used the Snail Mail CC to die cut this postage white frame. Another background layer was ink blended with Worn Lipstick, Tattered Rose, and Broken China distress oxide inks and a "limited edition" marking was heat embossed using the Handcrafted Happiness set.
Now that I have all the pieces, I assembled it all pieces directly onto the background and the penguins with foam tape. These cute little penguins are busy sending out all their handmade cards!
Love the penguins!! I colored mine black but I will need to try blue - they are adorable!
