Little Agenda Spaceship with Thi

Thi here and today I am sharing a card I made combining Little Agenda Spaceship and DE Night Sky Cover - Creative Cuts. These two new products pair so naturally together that I figured, "Why fight nature?"

To start my project, I took out some Distress Oxide in Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers and Faded Jeans and blended in that order. I just put down color in a triangular format onto Bristol smooth paper and as I move on to the next, I lightly blend them together. It will look like a hot mess, friends! Put some trust in the chaos and you will be rewarded!

With the Faded Jeans, I also lightly went over all of it from the outside in just so it muted down some of the brighter colors and make it look like a cohesive sky. If the blending isn't perfect, don't worry - keep going! Next, I took some water and sprayed it on my ink blended piece to remove some of the color. Then, I splatter white ink all over it to mimic stars. This is where the magic happens.

After this piece is completely dry - and I mean, completely dry - I die cut DE Night Sky Cover on top of it. This die cuts out little moons, stars and circles to add to that galaxy look. For a little sparkle, I backed this die with gold glitter paper and the results are amazing.

For my images, I colored Little Agenda Spaceship critters with Arteza markers and die cut them with their coordinating dies. With a background as intricate as this, we don't need to do much to the colored images. I just arranged them onto my card and popped them on with foam tape.

For the sentiment, since I used so much color, I decided to emboss in gold (to match the gold glitter paper) onto white card stock. I adhered this onto my card with foam tape as well and that's it! My card is finished.

I love these products and hope you will give a galaxy card a try in the future! Thank you for reading!
