Little Kangaroo Agenda with Thi

Thi here and today I am sharing a card I made with two new products from the April release: Mama Elephant Little Kangaroo Agenda stamp set and Comic Cover Wonky - Creative Cuts. Nothing speaks to me more than a great cover die to make a project look super polished but also super quick to put together.

First, I started by coloring the cute Little Kangaroo Agenda images with Copics. Just when you didn't think the agenda could get any cuter, Mama Elephant came out with these sweet kangaroos with little baby joeys in their pouches! Cuteness overload!

Next, I die cut Comic Cover Wonky - CC twice - once on red card stock and the other on Bristol smooth paper. I used the insides from the Bristol smooth paper and ink blended some "grass" with Distress Oxide in Shabby Shutters. I took the red frame and glued it onto a top-folding A2 card base. I like to use wet glue here so I have some wiggly room to make sure it aligns perfectly. Then I used a tape runner and added a little adhesive to the inside of the frame and popped each of my ink blended piece in like a puzzle and my background is done.

For my sentiment, I borrowed a sweet sentiment from Koala Hugs stamp set and heat emboss it with white embossing powder onto Kraft paper. Lastly, I mounted all the images and the sentiment with foam tape and popped them onto my card and my card is finished!
