Hey friends, it's Christy here, so excited to be with you on the Mama Elephant blog!
Today I wanted to share a sweet card that I created using the new Oh Friendship Tree stamp set. I just love this adorable pile of critters all squished together for their group Christmas card photo! At least that's the story I told myself when I was busy creating this one. I colored them all with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.
I used the Peek A Frame dies to create a background out of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock, and blended on Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink for the the sky and left the bottom white for the snow. Then I splattered some pearlized watercolor paint to give it a bit of interest and to add some shine when you tip the card into the light.
I popped that panel up with foam tape over some cozy-looking patterned paper and stamped a sentiment from Joyful Greetings in red ink, then trimmed that out with its matching die. To finish things off, I adhered a scatter of clear sequins and filled the centers in with Stardust Stickles.
If you'd like to see how this one came together, I created a video tutorial for you all! To view that, you can click the thumbnail below or find it here on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty.
I really hope you enjoy it! Thanks so much for stopping by!
