Home Decor with Jenn Biederman

Hello! Jenn, here, and today I'm sharing a couple framed pieces I've been working on. The first one uses my favorite set...Bootastic. I change out my framed decor to match the seasons, so this piece will work perfectly on display this upcoming Halloween.

Next is a simple image where I used part of the My Heart is Full sentiment from the Many Thanks set and added in one of the houses from the Full House set.

This is going to be on my desk as a daily reminder that the simple things: my faith, family and friends, are what makes my heart full. :)

I hope I've inspired you to grab an existing framed piece in your house, or find one at a thrift store/garage sale and craft away.

Hi everyone! I'm back today with my final post as the August guest designer.  Thank you so much to Kryssi and the entire team for having me!  It has been such a treat!

The first card I'm sharing today uses Many Thanks, which is absolutely full of thankful goodness. I absolutely love sets like these because there is a perfect sentiment for every thankful occasion.

To create this card, I pulled a sentiment from Many Thanks and simply added a little coloring to the inside of the sentiment.  Then, I added my favorite little heart, which is from the new Foodie stamp set and stamped a border from Basic Borders.  

My last card is one I've been so excited to share, using the Bootastic set. 

I know I gushed about how much I love Bootastic during the Stampede but seriously I adore Bootastic.  Those little trick-or-treaters are just too cute and that princess could be used for other occasions too. Again, I used Basic Borders to ground my images.

NY with Geralyn!

Hi everyone! Geralyn here this morning, and I'm sharing with you a mini-book spread from my New York travel book. I've been working on a little divided page protector handbook about my trip for a while now, and Mama Elephant's trendy stamps are so fun and easy to use on my pages.

The left side has two snapshots of restaurants we went to in New York, so I put the awesome Foodie stamp set to use. The stamps were great for embellishing my journaling card.

On the right side, I stamped the 'you are here' stamp from the Message Bands stamp set in yellow and cut notches on the ends to create a long banner. How perfect is that skyline stamp from the Central Park stamp set? I love it so much :)

Bootastic with Jenn Biderman!

Morning! It's Jenn and today I am sharing a Halloween mini-album I created using the Bootastic set. For a while I've had the idea to make an album that documents Halloween costumes for each of my daughters. This set gave me the creative boost I needed to make this idea become reality.

I masked off the "All Trick, No Treats" sentiment and stamped the tabbed pages.

I masked off the "hello, have a great day" stamp from the Tree Friends set and used the Halloween sentiment from the Bootastic set instead.

After making a small cut on the arms of the little Frankenstein, I added dimension by lifting the arms and attached the jack-o-lantern candy basket to him.

Even the bunny from the Tree Friends set made an appearance in my Halloween album!

I love how the little bats shine using silver glitter embossing powder.

The little witch worked perfectly with this page!

Since I didn't have a bee stamp, I incorporated the extra "e" in with these banners from the Be You set. I love how this one turned out!

The sentiment from the Hustle set worked perfectly with the big bad wolf costume.

This Queen of Hearts costume is my favortie, so had to add the "That Was Epic" stamp from the Be You set.

There's blank pages at the back so that I can add to it as the years go by. I hope I've inspired you to make your own album to document your children's years of Halloween happiness.

Hi everyone!  I'm so excited to be here today as the Mama Elephant August guest designer.  I absolutely adore Mama Elephant stamps, so this an absolute treat!

The first card I have to share today uses Message Bands. 

 I sometimes struggle using patterned paper and am always looking for stamps that will allow me to incorporate it into a card or project.  Message Bands is the perfect stamp for this!  To make this card, I simply trimmed my patterned paper at an angle and then stamped Message Bands across the card at the same angle.  Then, I just accented it with coordinating enamel dots.  This would look equally cool with stamping below it too!

Next up is a card using the new Foodie stamp set. 

That little cupcake had me at hello and the matching sentiment is just so perfect! I stamped the cupcakes along the top and bottom of the card and then the sentiment in the middle.  I also pulled out that little heart, which is seriously the perfect little heart, and stamped it repeatedly along the bottom of the sentiment.

Hi everyone, we are ending our August release stamp highlight with Many Thanks. As we begin to gear up for our One Year Anniversary in October, we have been reflecting our first year with Mama Elephant and our hearts are full with gratitude. All thanks to you.

Pearl created a colorful watercolor background masking triangle pennants for a sunny card to thank anyone.

Mariana created a CAS card using one of the sentiments of the set, and simply coloring each letter with a different color. She added Stickles to add dimension and embellished the card with some silver sequins.

Alice teamed up one of the sentiments from this set with the fun triangle border from Trifecta set and came up with this chic card.

Savannah created a CAS card using this stamp set. She added pops of neon color by fussy cutting the sentiment and stamping the arrows with neon pink ink!

Lea chose a feminine color combo & an eclectic mix of accents to create a thank you card for someone special! This stamp set works perfectly with all your other scrapbooking goodies!

JJ created a heart-shaped sequin shaker with acetate and washi tape.

STAMP HIGHLIGHT : FOODIE

Today's Stamp Highlight is Foodie. Some will say the way to a person heart is through their stomach! This fun set is perfect for that special thank you or encouragement because with good friends and good food, what more can you ask for?

Savannah created a super cute mini card using the Foodie and Up & Away stamp sets. She used brown flocking for her fox to help him pop! Savannah loves how he's holding a spoon and holding part of the sentiment

JJ used her stamps from Foodie to create the perfect place setting complete with placemat. The plate, spoon, and fork were embossed in gold for extra shine!

Lea created a sweet friendship themed card using this food themed stamp set! She used a bold color combo & fun accents to pull it all together!

The little donut images in this set helped Alice created the Cheerios and Fruit Loop in her card. How fun!

Mariana created a fun background using the bacon image. She also used the spoon and fork as the focal point and she complemented her card with one of the sentiments included in this set.

Pearl created a sweet rainbow-inspired watercolor background with the fun "be a fruit loop in a world full of cheerios" sentiment and sprinkled fruit loops for some added depth.

STAMP HIGHLIGHT : MESSAGE BANDS

Oooh La La, today we have Message Bands for our stamp highlight today. These fun and bold sentiment borders will make any project pop and they can practically go with just anything! I like how it puts an oomph to your stripes.

Message Bands

I just love what the Design Team did with them.

JJ used Message Bands to create a postcard-like city scene. 

 The cityscape stamp is from the previously released Central Park.

Pearl created a minty, ombre-inspired card perfect for to congratulate an expecting mommy.

Mariana created a plaid background using the solid band, and then, she added a sentiment, stitches and some embellishments to complete her card.

Savannah paired a Message Band stamp with some patterned paper, as well as several other ME stamp sets, to create this card. She really enjoys masking sentiments to create a custom sentiment!

Alice created this fun card combining one of the message bands with washi tape.

Lea created a fun summer card using the Message Bands set & a fun color combo!
