Our first year...

Hey everyone, Kryssi here! I can’t believe I’m writing this draft right now as we prepare to celebrate our one year anniversary! We have been busy preparing for the Anniversary release for quite some time now and we’re so excited that it's finally here!

We focused exclusively on stamps for the first year, but now we’re ready to make a big jump! We are going to bring you other fun products that I know you will all love! I’ll be making their formal introductions right here over the next two weeks and we’ll top it all off with a bang with the release and a 2 day star-studded Stampede on the 15^th. So much fun planned!

Before we get to that, I want to give a big shout out to everyone who's supported us. Mostly though, for me personally, I have to thank my partner in crime, Angela. Angela somehow became the "silent partner". She is anything but silent though! She is my rock and mentor... and a true inspiration. Not being as familiar with the paper crafting industry, Angela worked doubly hard to familiarize herself with our crafty world. She stocked up on ink, cardstock, and other "miscellaneous supplies". I had warned her not to buy useless stuff if she makes a trip to Michael's. Of course she didn't listen and bought some clearance stamp markers and some other supplies which I can't even remember now. I bet those markers are still in the original packaging! Correction, she took them out and they’re all dried up, lol! This past year, many of you fell in love with her designs. She's the genius behind all the cute character stamps (Cosmic Stars, Bootastic, Up and Away, etc.)! While she was learning about cards and scrapbooking, I was perfecting my digital designing skills. There were so many things in the beginning that I would have Angela execute because she is the pro. Slowly though, I took on more challenging designs and in a few months was able to successfully execute the most intricate of designs that I never imagined myself doing. Of course I still get stuck every now and then and pass designs off to Angela to create. It's just faster because you know, I'm lazy like that!

Both of us are artists by nature so to be able to do what we love in the comfort of our homes and by our family is a blessing. Most days, we have a great routine... we split up the work of shipping orders, responding to emails, stuff like that. We design at our own leisure and we conduct meetings over video conference. When we get together, it's a day to night thing with our husbands and kids playing together while we women "work". Our meeting days always end with a great meal, our reward. :) I hope our friendship and mutual respect for one another is reflected in everything we do. We can’t wait to see what’s in store in our sophomore year!

Gosh, so many of you have been here from day 1... it truly is humbling and such a joy to see you create with our stamps. We thank you and appreciate you. We know we wouldn't be here without our fans and customers. So, thank you, thank you, thank you!
