Hi everyone! Today we have the talented Kathy Racoosin joining us again! I've known Kathy for a few years now dating back to our Hero flickr days. Meeting her in person at CHA was one of the highlights of my stamping career! She is so warm and exudes such grace and elegance, I couldn't be happier to feature her here today! I hope you get a chance and stop by her blog and leave her some ME love after you've feasted your eyes on her amazing work! She has a giveaway too! ;)

And now I'm passing this on to Kathy! Take it away!

Hello My name is Kathy and I have been making cards since I was little girl. Every weekend I would check out the comics in the newspaper looking for a cute "Ziggy" drawing to copy. I would recreate Ziggy on notebook paper for card and use some crayons or colored pencils to add color. When Copics came to the market my love of coloring really exploded.

I "met" Kryssi in the Hero Arts flickr group and was a huge fan of her work from the start. It's such a joy to see her designs in stamps that others can create with and COLOR!
I have been sharing tips and tricks on my blog "The Daily Marker" since 7/2009 and I thought you might like to see a few of my all time favorite .
1. color image with some alcohol markers
2. find a rag with lots of texture
3. moisten the rag with the solution press lightly on the image with the rag for a second then lift
4. dry with a heat gun from the back of the paper
5. i usually always make the eyes larger & like to add enamel accents. Be sure to practice on some scrap paper before adding the enamel accents to your image.
6. the final result
It's been such a honor to create cards with this beautiful release. Thank You Kryssi and Angela.
