Wishing You with Nichol

Hello! Nichol here today with a Designer Series card featuring the Mama Elephant Wishing You Stamp Set paired with cute images from Carried Away and Little Cat Agenda. Embossed resist is one of my favorite ways to showcase the fantastic large scripty greeting from the Wishing You Stamp Set.

An A2 sized rectangle from the Peek A Frame was die cut from Bristol Smooth Cardstock and then the "Wishing You" greeting from the Wishing You Stamp Set was stamped on the background with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Squeezed Lemonade and Dried Marigold Distress Inks were adhered over the greeting and to add color to the background. A stencil was used to add sun rays with Dried Marigold Distress Ink and then the whole thing was spritzed with water from a Distress Sprayer before being blotted dry with a paper towel.

A smaller sentiment phrase from the Wishing You Stamp Set was stamped on a scrap of Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Carved Pumpkin Distress Ink was applied over the greeting and then heat set before being trimmed into a thin strip and attached below the scripty greeting with foam adhesive.

Another rectangle was die cut from smooth white cardstock using the Peek A Frame die and then a border was die cut using a Landscape Trio Die. The border was adhered along the bottom edge of the background with foam adhesive.

Images from the Carried Away Stamp Set and Little Cat Agenda Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with black ink and colored in with Copic Markers before being die cut with the coordinating Carried Away Dies and Little Cat Agenda Dies. The images were adhered to the scenes as shown.

The card was finished with a scattering of mini iridescent star confetti and yellow and clear sequins.
