Hello! Anna is here today with you to show my Designer Series project for this Dim Sum Fun stamp set week. I love everything about kawaii ('cute' in Japanese) food! These cuties really make me smile, so such cards really can cheer somebody up.
On my card I tried to use as many details from the set as I only could. I stamped all elements on the watercolor paper, colored them with Kuretake watercolors and die cut them with coordinating dies. I used watercolors because I wanted to add more natural look to the baskets - I mixed here two colors.
Oh these baskets are my favorite part of this set! I like that the dies also cut a little strip so you can put some cuties inside!
For such big food bang I needed a simple background. I die cut the front panel with the scalloped rectangle from Framed Tags - Chelsea - Creative Cuts and sponged a little with the yellow inks in the middle. Just to add some shadowing and to highlight the stamps. And don't forget about the sweet sentiment!
Have a great day!
so cute!
