Hello Mama's friends! Anna is here today with my Designer Series project. And for my card I picked new Season's Wishes stamp set. I combined it with new Holly's Snowflakes set and used chalk technique to make the monochrome yet festive card.
I started with white embossing the large lettering 'Season's Greetings' phrase with few snowflakes on the black card stock. Then using my misti-tool I moved a little the lettering phrase a little down and right and stamped it with the white pigment ink. It adds the dimensions and the sense of handwritten text on the black board.
Then I took distress tool and inked it with the white pigment ink and sponged a little on the edges and over the text. What I like about chalk technique - it hasn't to be perfect! The 'non-ideality' is the key here!
Then the time for adding more details. With white pigment inks I stamped the second part of the sentiment (wishes with small neutral font) and more snowflakes with some spots. And the last details are some color accents.
I stamped the branch from Season's Wishes stamp set with the light gray ink and colored it in no-line coloring technique using only green and red colors. and then I also adhered some green and red enamel dots. And as you can see - this card is very festive now! And it didn't take to much time to create it - what is important during the Holiday season!
