Stitched Gift Tags with Nichol

Hello! Nichol here today with a trio of adorable gift tags that are also gift card holders using the Stitched Gift Tag Creative Cuts. I love how these adorable gift card holder tags hold a gift card perfectly! I created a trio of three in red/white/gray with touches of glitter paper for holiday sparkle!

The Stitched Gift Tags were die cut from red, white, and gray cardstock, as well as the bow elements from the die collection. The contrast tag flap piece from the Stitched Gift Tags set and a snowflake from the Flurries Die Collection were die cut from White Glitter, Silver Glitter, and Red Glitter cardstocks.

On the tag base, I stamped a phrase from the Peaceful Wishes Stamp Set. This greeting is covered up when the gift card is in place but is revealed when the gift card is removed!

The contrasting piece of the tag flap was adhered to each using liquid adhesive. The bows were glued and assembled as shown and adhered to the top of each tag, lining everything up with the die cut holes.

The glitter snowflake was adhered to each tag as shown.

Tags were die cut from smooth white cardstock using the Mini Tags Dies. A greeting from the Mini Messages Stamp Set was stamped on each tag, colored in with a red marker, and attached the tag base by threading it and the large gift card holder tag together with silver twine.

  3. Nichol, I absolutely adore this tag. I love critters, any critters whether stamps or dies; real or make believe. Yeti is one of the critters that would come high up on my "Wish List". Thank you Nichol for sharing your skills with us crafters. :O) Love your tag, Nichol. There are several yeti image stamps out there and this set from Mama Elephant is my favorite. And, I LOVE the iced spruce color you used. I have had this color in my head for the background of some snowflake images and have searched high and low for a card stock that matched the image in my head This really IS adorable Nichol and I love those colours together. The Iced Spruce is one of the first Oxides I bout and so far is my favourite. Thank you for sharing your article about STITCHED GIFT TAGS WITH NICHOL.
