Wish Upon A Star with Thi

Hello, there! Thi here today with a wiper surprise card featuring Wish Upon a Star. When I saw that little bunny with the wings, I knew I had to venture into making my first Wiper surprise card with it! If you are like me and a little intimidated by making one of these, the Wiper Surprise - Creative Cuts and the video tutorial that Rina made is all you need to ebb those fears! This card was way easier that I thought it would be - and the results are so satisfying!
Let's begin! First, I colored all my images with Arteza real brush pens. I used very little colors and used a water brush to fade out the gradients in the coloring. After I finished coloring, I die cut all the cuties with the coordinating dies and set aside for later.
Now it is time to work on the wiper components. I ink blended two panels - one for my background and one for the cloud in front. I die cut both with the Wiper - Creative Cuts then I die cut the front panel with the cloud from Landscape Trio - Creative Cuts.
Before assembling my card, I heat embossed the sentiment from Wish Upon a Star with rose gold embossing powder. I made sure I finished everything while the card was still flat before assembling the wiper card. To assemble, I followed the directions on the Mama Elephant video tutorial. After the wiper elements are completed, I adhered all my colored images and my card is complete!
I hope you like my card today and that I inspired you to try making a wiper surprise card. This card fits in an A2 envelope when flat and is a fun surprise for your recipient!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
