Summer Splash with Amy

Hello! Amy here with a fun 3D pop-up card featuring the adorable Summer Splash and Beach Chickies stamp sets. These two sets go well together and will help you create a really fun beach scene. 

To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from Summer Splash and Beach Chickies and cut them out with the coordinating Summer Splash and Beach Chickies creative cuts.

To make the pop-up box card, I used the 3D Pop Up Card creative cuts. For the panels outside the box, I die-cut pattern paper and adhered it as shown. 

The three inserts that hold the images inside the box were ink blended with Distress Oxides. I added splatters of ink and white dots for texture. 

The wave panels were ink blended with Distress Oxides as well and die-cut with the Ocean Waves Trio creative cuts. I white heat embossed the sentiment "Wishing You an Awesome Day" from the Beach Chickies stamp set onto the larger panel.

The trimmed cloud panel on the back of the box was ink blended with Distress Oxide using an acetate stencil I made using the Cloudy Day Cover creative cuts.

To finish, I assembled the box with the panels and adhered the colored images as shown. The chickie with the kite is suspended with a strip of acetate.

Beach Chickies with Laura

Hi there! Laura here and today I have a fun project to share with you featuring the Beach Chickies stamp set along with the coordinating Beach Chickies-Creative Cuts.

To begin I masked off the background to blend Distress Oxides to go behind the Tri Window Cover-Creative Cut. This was my first time trying out the Life Changing Blender Brushes. Oh my goodness! Why did I ever doubt? They are amazing for a soft, subtle background blend.

I colored the images from Beach Chickies with Copics and popped them up inside the windows of the Tri Window Cover die cut and added a couple sentiments, also from Beach Chickies.

I could go for a sunny day on the beach! It's been raining cats and dogs here in Illinois! Sending you lots of sunshine today! Thanks so much for stopping by!

The Wild Roar with Nichol

Hello friends! Nichol here today with a partial die cut scene card featuring the new The Wild Roar Stamp Set and coordinating dies.I used the large coordinating border die to partially die cut the front of a card base for an interactive card that shows the recipient the "inside" of the card (leaves and sentiment) while viewing the "outside" of the card. This technique is so easy and will work with any of the Mama Elephant stamp sets featuring the critter borders!

Using a top fold card base tipped on it's side, I partially die cut the critter border using The Wild Roar Creative Cuts die. Green inks were applied to the background (inside) of the card using the Life Changing Blending Brushes. A sentiment from the Sending Hugs Stamp Set was stamped on the background using clear embossing ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Another sentiment from the Occasional Labels Stamp Set was stamped on smooth white cardstock using black Ink, trimmed and adhered above the embossed phrase with foam adhesive.

The Wild Roar border, leaves, and birds were stamped on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies. The critter border was adhered to the partial die cut front flap of the card, trimming any excess. The leaves and birds were adhered to the card with foam adhesive, also trimming off any excess overhanging the top and sides.

Glossy Accents was applied to the beaks, rhino horn, and noses. A black gel pen was added to the rest of the noses and the eyes.

The partial die cut border perfectly hides where you can write a personal note to the recipient! I hope this has inspired you to try partial die cutting!

Summer Splash with Vera

Hello there! It's Vera here, with a fun summer card. My card today will feature the Summer Splash. But in the progress, I thought it would be more fun by combining with the Beach Chickies, another stamp set illustrated by Aida Zamora. 



So here, I created a card with three cute scenes by combining Elephants from Summer Splash set, the cute chicks from the Beach Chickies and monstera leaves from The Wild Roar stamp set. 



I started by stamping all images on Bristol paper, colored with Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies. Next, I made the front panel by die-cutting the little frame from a part of  Venice Envelope Creative Cuts and ink blended with distress ink. I listed all the detail supplies that I used in the picture below. 

Once I've done preparing all the supplies, I started by arranging all images on each frame to create the scene 1, 2, and 3. Then I glued it into the base card and finished the card by placing the front panel with foam tape.
