Slider Glider with Nichol

Hello friends! Nichol here today an interactive Slider Glider Card featuring the brand new Mama Elephant Slider Glider Creative Cuts Dies, Zodiac Snake Stamp Set and Creative Cuts Dies, and Display A Card Creative Cuts Dies! I also am using the Grassy Trio Creative Cuts Dies and Celebrate Script Creative Cuts Die to create this birthday themed design.

A cloudy sky was inked directly on the card base with blue ink and the die cut trees from the Display A Card Creative Cuts Dies were adhered.

The Slider Glider Creative Cuts Dies was assembled according to the video directions and adhered to the card base. (I used the pull tab to create the notches in the card base and grass border.)

A Grassy Trio Creative Cuts Dies was die cut from green cardstock. A sentiment from the Zodiac Snake Stamp Set was stamped and embossed with white embossing powder along the bottom edge. The border was adhered over the Slider Glider with foam adhesive.

The images from the Zodiac Snake Stamp Set were stamped on smooth white cardstock with a no line coloring ink and colored in with the following Copic Markers:

• Snake: YR30, YR31, YR23, R30, R32, R35, YR01, YR04, YR31, YR23, YG21, YG25, BG11, BG13
• Balloon: YR30, YR31, YR23, R30, R32, R35, YR01, YR04, YR31, YR23, YG21, YG25, BG11, BG13
• Heart: R30, R32, R35
• Cake: YR30, YR31, YR23, R30, R32, R35, YR31, YR23, BG11, BG13

The snake was adhered to acetate attached to the Slider Glider Creative Cuts Dies.

The Celebrate Script Creative Cuts Die was die cut from smooth white cardstock adhered to Fun Foam with Stick It Adhesive and adhered above the stamped and embossed sentiment.

Family Time with Keeway

Do you like to leave little love notes on a desk, in the lunch box, or elsewhere for a loved one to discover a sweet little message? In the current modern world where we are so consumed with our phones, the internet, and the television, it's such a gift to receive handwritten notes and also what makes sending handmade cards so special! Today, we'll be creating petite cards to write little love notes for the family with the Family Time set and Fortune Envelope Creative Cuts. 

 

I started by stamping the many cute images from Family Time and colored them with copic markers. I then used the Family Time Coordinating Cuts to die cut each of the images out. 

 

To create each of the mini scenes cut squares that were of 2.5" by 2.5". On each of these panels, I used Mama Elephant Pigment Ink Pads to blend these ombre panels. These ink pads are super easy to ink blend with and I love the beautiful colors. Pigment inks do dry a little slower so set them aside to dry for a few minutes or if you want to speed it up, use a heat gun or blow dryer. 

 

I also die cut thin tree branches in batches by using the Winter Forest Cover Creative Cuts on kraft card stock. I also lightly ink blended these branches with Hazel Pigment Ink to add some interest and texture to them. The ground/grass layer was die cut with the Landscape Trio Creative Cuts and light ink blended with Lemongrass Pigment Ink on the stitched edge to add a soft glow. 

 

All the sentiments used are from the same Family Time set. I stamped it in Versamark ink onto soft peach colored card stock and heat set it in gold embossing powder. I die cut the words out into little sentiment fishtail strips that were added to each scene and trimmed on one side. 

 

I then used the Fortune Envelope Creative Cuts to bring all the pieces together into a small card. I first die cut the small scallop square out of white card stock and added all my scene pieces onto it. I added the colored critters with foam tape. 

 

The base card is of the size 3.25" by 6.5" and folded in half. I opted to use a pattern paper for my base so that you see just a sliver of the design behind the scalloped edge. If you want to take an extra step to create an envelope for these little cards, the envelope created using the Fortune Envelope Creative Cuts will fit these perfectly. Stamp Highlight: Corner Flowers

We have another Stamp Highlight for you today! Today we are looking at the the gorgeous Corner Flowers stamp set, illustrated by Anna Osvald.  Just in time as Spring is right around the corner! ;)

 

Keeway embossed the Corner Flowers in gold followed by some loose watercoloring to create a dreamy card! She used the Thanks Script Creative Cuts and Many Thanks stamp set to complete her thank you card.

 

 

Maria used a Happy Birthday sentiment from Paola's Wishes stamp set as the main focal point and surrounded it with beautiful watercolored flowers from the new Corner Flowers set. Absolutely stunning!

Mette created a gorgeous geometric flower frame using the Corner Flowers and Everyday Greetings

 

We love how Vera created this card with bright yellow Corner Flowers and paired it with the Deer from Family Time set.

Thi made a soft and beautiful Mother's Day card by combining Corner Flowers with a custom MOM sentiment created with Whimsy Alphas - Creative Cuts.

Welcome back for day two of Stamp Highlights! Today we are featuring the new Zodiac Dragon stamp set with the Design Team's totally cute projects! Rawr!
