Zodiac Dog with Thi

Hello, crafty friends. Thi here and today I am sharing a card I made combining a few awesome products from the newest Mama Elephant release. My card features Zodiac Dog, Stems and Sprigs and Frilly Window Frame - Creative Cuts. I thought it would be fun to combine something 'cutesy' with some floral images. I think a lot of times we think we have to choose one or the other and I wanted to see if I could create something where I didn't have to.

To start, I stamped and colored all my images with Copic markers then die cut them with their coordinating dies.

Next, I die cut the large frame from Frilly Window Frame and mask off the edged before ink blending some clouds with a stencil and Distress Inks. To add interest, I also splattered my ink blended background with the same Distress Inks I used.

While I was die cutting, I also took out Grassy Trio - Creative Cuts and die cut a small piece of grass to ground my images.

To put my card together, I glued the grass directly onto the ink blended piece. Next I mounted the background onto an A2 card base that I covered with purple card stock. Next, I added foam tape to all my images and arranged them onto the background.

For the sentiment, I chose to use this sweet sentiment from Sweetest Greetings stamp set.
