Space Word with Mimi

Hi, this is Mimi (Instagram #dasmimz).  I have a fun 3D interactive project to share, Space World Adventure theme park.

I incorporated many Mama Elephant stamps/dies but the Little Agenda Spaceship set was the inspiration for this project. I colored all stamped images with Copic markers.

To start, I created a front signage and background scene. The front signage was made by using the Whimsy Alphas die to spell out SPACE and the words, stars and spacecrafts are from the Little Agenda Spaceship.

For the background, I created a roller coaster/train scene with little trains from Toy Store and some little critters from Lil Toy Machine. The tunnels were made from the mantle from Merry Mantle, trees from Scene Building and clouds/bushes from the Display-a-Card die and Slimline Film City die. The sky, bushes and ground were ink blended with Distress Oxide inks.

For the first interactive ride, I created the spinning spaceship. I stamped 3 rockets and 3 mirror image of that rocket. I did the same thing with 3 agenda critters (bear, bunny, kangaroo). I die cut them with its coordinating dies. I assembled the front and back view of all the images, adhered the critters and attached strings to each. For the spinning mechanism, I used a lollipop stick and a paper straw.

Next, I created the up and down rocket ride to the moon. I made a 3D slider mechaniasm using their Straight Slider die.

The ferries wheel spaceship was so fun to make. I had to make 2 moving parts; the wheel itself and each spaceship. To create the moving wheel, I die cut some strips and circles, added a brad to the middle back to make the wheel spin.  I stamped and die cut 3 spaceships, 3 agenda critters (dog, kangaroo, koala) and adhered them together. To make the spaceship move individually, I also added a brad to each and attached to the wheel.

Lastly, I added a few more little agenda critters with balloons and ice cream to make it more fun.

I hope you enjoyed my fun little project!
