10 YEARS of THANKS!

Hi everyone! Kryssi here! Today I am so thrilled to welcome you back to the Mama Elephant blog for the kick off a brand new release. This year marks our 10 year anniversary! What a milestone, we can hardly believe it ourselves! I hope you'll indulge me for a bit as I take you down memory lane. :)

I remember reconnecting with Angela about 11 years ago by chance. Angela was my best friend when we were in grade school. After grade school, we separated and went to different middle schools. We weren't able to keep in touch because, you know - no social media or cell phones back then. Gosh, I feel ancient. Fast forward 20+ years later, we were able to reconnect thanks to Facebook. Since we both have an artistic background, after some chatter we decided to start Mama Elephant "just for fun"! Never in our wildest dreams did we think it would take off and become what it is today.

We are also keenly aware that without the support of so many great friends/customers in the crafting community, we wouldn't have made it here either. Running a business isn't just about one thing working, so many moving parts and pieces - everything has to be working together!

So, some shout outs! Thank you...

Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner. The true heavy hitters and GOAT of the stamping world. 10 years ago, when we had our first release prepared, we nervously reached out to both of them and asked if they would help launch our first release. Without hesitation, they both agreed! Because of them, we didn't get lost in obscurity, haha! With their support, Mama Elephant was able to get our name out there with a huge bang! In the last 10 years, their support has been unwavering and constant. Thank you. <3

To our Design Team, past, present and esteemed guests! Without your talent and time, our stamps would just be stamps. You bring our work to life! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I wish I can hug all of you in person!

A special shout out to Rina, you're a freakin rockstar, and you know it! Your radiant personality is infectious. Your simple presence breathe life and laughter into any room you grace. We are so blessed to have you spearhead our team the last few years, tirelessly pounding out quality videos every release like a workhorse, haha! Thank you for being so dependable with the work stuff. Thank you for being so funny and fun to be around. But I think most of all, thank you for being a real friend. We love you.

To our customers... at the end of the day, it all comes down to you. Your support and enthusiasm in sharing your Mama Elephant projects is what fuels everything. Thank you, we love you! 10 years later, in our minds, this is still "just for fun" -- and in that sense we aren't "working" at all, but just having fun doing what we love. Thank you, for letting us live this life and letting us be a small part of yours.
