DESTINED by Jenn Biederman

Morning! Jenn here and today I am sharing a traditional layout using the Full House set as the centerpiece. I repeated and flipped the house border to create the pattern behind the photo of us.

I've seen a lot of layouts using a diagonal element behind the photo, so had to give it a try. This is really stepping out of the box for me, as I tend to keep things straight.

Hope you enjoyed this layout. Have a great day!

FUN LAYOUT BY GERALYN!

Hi everyone! Geralyn here, and I have a travel layout to share today. One of the coolest things we did in Australia was a helicopter ride above the 12 Apostles. The #YOLO stamp from Hustle was perfect for this memory ;) I also pulled out Be You, Wanderlust, and Midnight Letters for this layout.

Bold & Beautiful by Karolyn Loncon

Hello!!

OH EM GEE!!  I am freaking out at the idea that I get to share a couple of the projects that I created for my Mama Elephant guest designer gig with you today!!  Eeeekkk!!  I must tell you that I had an amazing time creating with this month’s images, so I can’t wait to share my projects with you!  I hope that you’ll see that my love for these images is reflected in my projects.  So let’s get to it, shall we?

Stitches - Mama Elephant July 2013
(Click for larger photo)

My first project features Stitches.  How amazing is that sentiment?  I mean those delicate swirls and stitches are just so sweet, aren’t they?  I immediately thought to put the sentiment on an embroidery hoop that I created with my Silhouette Cameo.  Once I stamped the sentiment on the white panel, I embossed it with an aida cloth impression plate, to look like actual cross-stitch fabric.  Those delicious flowers are from the Water Blooms set.  Love!!

Lights Out 2 - Mama Elephant July 2013
(Click for larger photo)

My second project features the Lights Out stamp set.  I am absolutely obsessed with light bulb images, so when these yummies showed up in my mailbox, I let out a squeal of delight!!  And the sentiments in this set are beyond perfect for the theme of the set.  I decided to sort of animate my light bulb focal image by adding a grad cap that I created with my Silhouette.  I embossed some sun rays on the main panel for effect and created a little baker’s twine tassel.  How fun would it be to give this to your favorite graduate?

I’ve listed the products that I used on both of these projects below.  I’ll be back in a few days to share two more Mama Elephant projects with you!  In the meantime, I hope you enjoy what I’ve shared today.  Thanks so much for stopping by - it means the world to me that you’ve taken time out of your day to visit!

Graphic and Elegant by Jenn Biedermann

Morning! Jenn here and today I am sharing a PL page, but scrapbooked in a traditional way. The 3x4 pockets have the same card to create a complete background, then I built on top of them to make my page. The house border from the Full House set worked great to create a border on my photo. I liked how it looked, so randomly chose other parts of the page to stamp them.

Still lovin' the Water Blooms set:

PL INSPIRATION FROM GERALYN SY

Hi everyone! Geralyn here today to share some Project Life with you. I'm a little behind on my PL so I worked on a spread for May. I didn't have a lot of photographs to use so I decided to play with some fun typography. Mama Elephant stamps always have the coolest fonts and phrases, so they were put to good use on this spread!

I embellished the filler card on the left with washi tape, wood veneer and the asterisks stamps from Hustle. I used the 'keep on keepin' on' stamp from Hustle on the card on the right.

That cute speech bubble on the left is from Full House, and the 'Yay' stamp I used on the right is from Big Words.

I went to a concert back in May, and I found some Mama Elephant stamps that were perfect to document the event. On this card, I combined stamps from Hustle, Be You, and Say What.

To balance out my PL spread, I decided to go graphic and stamp the lyrics of my favorite song from the concert on a 4x6 card for the bottom right pocket. I used my favorite alpha stamps - Midnight Letters :)

That's all from me today. Hope you enjoyed this peek into my Project Life!

STAMP HIGHLIGHT: HUSTLE

Hey everyone, today's Highlight is on Hustle. We just knew you guys would love this fun set! It's hip, it's young, and above all, it's keepin' it real in a lighthearted, silly way! :)

Hustle

Let's see what our designers did with Hustle!

JJ paired the sentiment from Hustle with the spool stamps from stitches to create a wedding card.

Lea chose a bright, rainbow color theme to pair with the fabulous #YOLO sentiment from the "Hustle" stamp set. She made it a birthday card by adding the Let's Celebrate from the "Say What" stamp set!

Cheiron used this bold sentiment on a bright painted backgrounds. She used the asterisks in the set along with enamel dots to create tiny happy "flowers".

Alice created the rainbow background to echo the wonderful sentiment for this card.

Mariana made a bright card using one of the sentiments included in this set. She used four different colors of neon inks to achieve a colorful look. She also used one of the images included in Full House to create a subtle background.

Pearl made a cute and simple celebration card using the sentiment "fist pumpin' for you!" pairing it with the cute bunny image with a flocked belly and tail from "Up and Away" and triangle pennants from a favorite, "Trifecta".

Savannah created a very clean and simple card using just one sentiment from this new Mama Elephant stamp set. She highlighted the banner with a colorful patterned paper to match the sentiment!

STAMP HIGHLIGHT: LIGHTS OUT

Today we are Highlighting Lights Out. The interchangeable parts makes this light bulb building set extra fun! I also love the combination of fonts for the sentiments. So take out your light bulbs and turn up the electricity!

Let's see our Design Team's brilliant cards!

Jenn makes the lightbulbs shine on this card by adding glossy accents to them after stamping the bulb with a bright yellow ink.

Savannah highlighted one light bulb with some neon yellow paper to match that sentiment-- it's PERFECT!

JJ used the sun rays from Sunny Skies to create a shining bulb! For a little extra bling, she used a glitter pen.

Pearl made a clean and simple card with a stamped light bulb and star design paper pieced with layered floating star confetti and sequins streaming behind, and the perfect matching sentiment to let someone know they're brilliant!

Mariana created a CAS card using some Neon ink colors and some gemstones.

Cheiron used a sentiment from this set and surrounded it with lots of shiny gold spray. She painted stars with gold paint and gave them some dimension.

Lea chose to focus on the stars with her card, adding gold glittered & wood veneer stars all along the edge of the title card. She added the sentiment from the "Lights Out" set directly to the top of the title card to really make the theme of the card shine!

Alice created this fun card using one of the light bulb outlines to create the background and highlighted one of the bulbs with the solid images.

STAMP HIGHLIGHT: FULL HOUSE

We have Full House as today's Stamp Highlight. This set is so versatile that you can create back yards to backgrounds. I love how this set is so graphic with a touch of whimsy.

I just adore these little houses and neighborhoods that our Design Team inked up!

JJ stamped a colorful graphic background with the large house border.

Lea created a missing you card using "Full House" & a map themed project life card from Studio Calico to pull it all together. She added a little pop of aqua amongst the mostly neutral colors to give it that little something extra!

Cheiron used all the tiny houses in the set to create this sweet, colorful rainbow row of houses.

Mariana created a simple card using two of the borders included in this set along with some decorative tape

Pearl made a clean abstract collage card with stamped houses, a coordinating watercolored sky, a dimensional embossed gold heart speech bubble, and the perfect sentiment "happiness lives here" from the "We Click" set.

Savannah created another clean and simple card by creating her own background using different inks and the chevron image from this new Mama Elephant stamp set. For extra fun she clustered a house along with two word bubbles near the right side of the card.

Alice combined the cute little houses in this set with images from Sunny Skies set to create this sweet scene.

STAMP HIGHLIGHT: STITCHES

Hi everyone, today's Stamp Highlight is Stitches. It's a super fun set with spools, threads and a cute little button that any crafter would love! Send your thanks in this elegant scripty font and show your appreciation stitch by stitch!

Now let's see how crafty our Design Team got!
JJ stamped and embossed the large sentiment from Stitches. The soft flowery background was created with stamps from Water Blooms.

Lea kept it clean & simple with a one layer card focusing completely on the sentiment! The twine threaded buttons were the perfect accent for this sewing themed thank you!

Cheiron stamped the sentiment in a fun blue and aquamarine combo. She punched out the buttons and adhered them with foam tape to give her card a little dimension.

Mariana heat-embossed the large sentiment and one of the small sentiments using white embossing powder. Then, she created a watercolor brush effect background using Distress Inks,
water and a flat brush.

Inspired by this stamp set, Pearl made a dainty little sewing kit, perfect as bridesmaid emergency kits or party favors with gold embossed tag.

Savannah used a fun color story to highlight some threaded stamped spools from this new Mama Elephant stamp set!

With the neutral background colors, Alice used bright colors to make the stitch background and the sentiment speak for themselves.
