...I've got two Mama Elephant card and two videos to share today!

For my first card share today, I used the ME Water Blooms Stamp Set, Distress Inks and a Mini Mister to create a lovely soft watercolor floral background. I used the label and grid design inside the label from the ME Be You stamp set and the greeting from the ME Up & Away Stamp Set. I love how you can mix and match elements from all the Mama Elephant stamp sets so easily! I stamped my card base with the line design stamp in the ME Basic Borders Stamp Set both horizontally and vertically to create my own plaid background quickly and easily!

I added some liquid pearls to the centers of the stamped florals for additional color and a bit of dimension without bulk.

The addition of some simple ribbon and the tiny resin flower add the delicate feminine touch that "softens" an already girly card. 

HOW TO

My next card features the ME Big Words Stamp Set as the background of the card, stamped in Unicorn White Ink on a kraft card. For the floral bouquet, I stamped six flowers from the ME Lovely Mums Stamp Set stamped in coordinating shades of  yellow and orange. I die cut the stems and vase using a digi die cut and colored the stems using a watercolor wash created from Distress Inks.

I love die cutting vase designs from vellum so you can still "see" the lovely stem (or whatever you tuck into your vases)! I'm especially fond of how amazing the white ink looks on the kraft background. These big words make the best subtle background designs when used in this way!
