Ladies (and gents), thank you so much for all your moral support the last few days. It meant a lot knowing so many of you were cheering us on through your television sets. We have read each and every encouraging messaging coming through emails, Facebook, twitter, Instagram, texts, oh my! We truly feel so connected to you all! :)
Everyone else seemed like seasoned pros in comparison. When I sat down to write my pitch, it turned out to be a 5+ minute love letter of my passion for stamping and how ME is striving to make a positive impact with the people who share our love for creating. It was a difficult task to truncate all of that to 30 seconds. I'm sorry if I didn't do us justice. :( I probably won't rewatch the video again due to embarrassment, LOL. But yay, we move on to next week! Someone please hold our hands!
Be sure to catch Marcus Lemonis and his season 2 premier of The Profit on NBC tonight at 10PM EST! He's awesome and such an inspiration!

ReplyDeleteCongrats on a job well done! Since stamping is not as widespread as eating burgers and snacks you might want to mention the industry and how you have the support of the industry leaders (Jennifer McGuire, Kristina Werner, etc.) and your followers and how you are growing

ReplyDeleteGood for you! Love your stamps and wish you well.
ReplyDeleteI NEVER watch the today show, but somehow my TV was on right as this segment started. I caught the ME logo before changing the channel.
ReplyDeleteI took a class where we had to envision our own businesses and at the end of the class we had to do and 30 second pitch. It was extremely difficult to do in front our our Dean, other professors, and classmates for a fictitious business. I cannot imagine doing it on live TV for a real business. I think you guys did a great job! I am so happy you were not cut. I wish the best of luck next week.
Good luck to you! I watched the Today show for the first time to see you. Great job!
ReplyDeleteso exciting, you guys did so great!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is fantastic - you girls did a great job, much better than me on live tv in front of the news and millionares!
ReplyDeleteYay....you go girls! Congrats on moving on!
ReplyDeleteGood for YOU! Go get-em!
ReplyDeleteJust watched the clip, how awesome to see you on the today show!!! And I love that you were actually stamping during your 20 seconds! Great job!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you posted the video clip. I missed seeing the actual broadcast. So proud of you both for moving onto the next round. I read in the comments that several people (professionals) offered their services to help you with next weeks taping. If someone is offering their help, take it. Who knows, you could win this thing. Good luck to both of you!
ReplyDeleteI hold my fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! So happy to see our industry represented.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and bonne chance!
ReplyDeleteI apologize for my late post...CONGRATS to both of you for a job well done!!! I'm so, very proud to be an avid customer of Mama Elephant! Thank you for inspiring all of us to create...I wish you continued success in the paper crafting industry!!!
ReplyDeleteWooHOO! I am so sorry that I had not known about this until now, but I am sure am HAPPY for you and excited that you shared the video!! CONGRATS!!!!
