First Look: Sweet Havana

Hi all, today I'm giving you a first look at Sweet Havana, quite possibility one of our most detailed stamp sets to date.

I'm really big on vintage finds, I love anything old and rustic, there is just so much charm to it. I don't own any traditional vases, but I love vintage pitchers, old mason jars, and stuff like that. So, naturally, the first thing we designed for Sweet Havana was something like that to hold the florals! This pitcher has a ton of texture and detail, it exudes charm right off the bat! To add to the vintage feel, we designed it so that the sentiments can be wrapped around the vase, sort of hugging it. It just looks really cute! I have to admit the florals came at the very end and it took me a long time. I wanted it to be easy to use, because I honestly don't have the patience for two-step stamping. We did throw in a tiny bit of that, but just a bit! I think you'll find Sweet Havana extremely fun ad easy to use especially with the added elements of it's coordinating Creative Cuts die set!

You'll find a variety of great sentiments that are a bit on the sweet and sugary side for a change!

As a final touch to the card, I stamped a lacey frame using the border stamp from Filigree, it really completed my entire vintage, rustic charm card!
