Splendid with Laura Bassen

Hi everyone! It's Laura here, and I have a fun project to share using the new Splendid stamp set. I absolutely love the handwritten look of these sentiments!Mama Elephant~SplendidAfter I stamped my sentiment in black, I clear embossed the triangle background using the Trifecta stamp set onto watercolor cardstock. Then created the faux watercolor look by smushing distress inks with my acrylic block. Mama Elephant~SplendidHere's a quick, little video to show you how I did it: Thanks so much for watching!

  11. Love, love, love the look! I would never in a million years have guessed that you used an acrylic block for the color! I can totally see what you mean about the colors - gotta use ones that are near each other on the color wheel or else you've got mud! Thanks so much for sharing!
