Hello, You're Perfect with Nichol Magouirk!

Hi there! Nichol here today to share a trio of cards showcasing the Origami Creative Cuts dies.
I combined the Origami Stamp Set and Origami Creative Cuts Dies with some of my favorite Mama Elephant Creative Cuts stand alone dies to create these three fun clear cards. I love how part of the inside of the card shows through to the front of these cards!

I wanted to try out some watercoloring with the images from the Origami Stamp Set so I stamped several of the images on some Tim Holtz Watercolor Paper using Versamark Ink and embossed them with white embossing powder. The embossed areas will help "hold in" the watercolor and keep it from migrating across the paper. I used the Peerless Watercolors to color in the images and set them aside to air dry while I die cut all the rest of the components for my cards.

I used the Femme Frames Creative Cuts stitched rectangle die to create four panels for each card (front and back of each side to hide any adhesive. I used the rounded speech bubble die from the Speech Trio Creative Cuts to trim down the bottom edge of the front two panels of the card.

I used the die cut inlay technique to create an inlay design with the Hello Script Creative Cuts die.
The stamped greeting from the Origami Stamp Set and the stamped, watercolored and die cut hearts are on the inside of the card but show through the clear card to the front!

Layered clouds at the top of the card were created with the scalloped border die from the Landscape Trio Creative Cuts.

While I had all the supplies out I went ahead and made two more cards using other critters from the Origami Stamp Set! Same design, different animals...
