Winter Wonderland with Nichol!

Hello everyone!
I'm back today with another first look at some brand new Mama Elephant Creative Cuts dies, Winter Wonderland. Winter Wonderland is one of my most favorite Mama Elephant stamp sets and I'm beyond thrilled that they have released the coordinating dies for the two cute deer and antlers in the set!
One of my favorite things about this stamp set (and now the dies) is that depending on the greeting you use, it doesn't have to be a holiday-themed card! You could just as easily create a woodland-themed card or mix and match the elements with other stamp sets for a one-of-a-kind design. Those birch trees go with almost anything!

For my card today, I created a Christmas card using one of my favorite color combinations for the holiday season, white on white with silver (or gray).

To create the snowy forest scene, I first die cut the large A2 size stitched rectangle Peek A Frame Creative Cuts die from smooth white cardstock. Then using a couple of shades of gray ink and utilizing both first and second generation stamping, I created a "forest" of trees. The second generation of stamping gives the illusion of depth which is an especially nice effect when stamping trees.
I die cut another A2 stitched rectangle from vellum using the Peek A Frame Creative Cuts die and secured it over the stamped trees. I stamped the greeting and small circle "snowflakes" from Winter Wonderland on the vellum using Versasmark Ink, adding silver embossing powder to the greeting and white embossing powder to the "snowflakes" before heat setting.

I die cut a couple of "snow drifts" using the Landscape Trio Creative Cuts dies and layered them over the bottom portion of the card using foam adhesive under each layer. Ribbon wrapped around the top snow drift layer adds a subtle bit of dimensional embellishment to the card.
I stamped both deer from Winter Wonderland with a dark gray ink and die cut them using the coordinating Winter Wonderland Creative Cuts dies. Then I tucked the deer "into" the snow drifts.
I finished the card with a scattering of clear white and silver sequins.
