Hola, today's First Look are Season's Greetings and Peace on Earth, both designed in collaboration by Pauline Ibarra. She has such an elegant penmanship, I just can't tell you how much we love creativity and talent... and her!
Angela and I created two similar cards, Pure coincidence. Here's her card:
The skyline is from Cityscape. She also uses our cute penguins from Arctic Penguins that we showed you earlier.
And here's my card, same color scheme and all! Except I decided to put my penguins in the middle of a snowstorm, haha!
The background is stamped using Boutique Borders and our newest Creative Color in the color Stargazer, a rich dark blue. Ombre blue background inside the shaker is created by blending two tones of blue Distress Inks. Snowflakes and sentiment are both from the Season's Greetings stamp set. This is overall, a really versatile Winter stamp set if you like beautiful sentiments and snowflakes, and who doesn't? ;)
I also have two quick cards using Peace on Earth. I wanted to show just how quick and easy it is to create your holiday cards if you are like me, constantly crunched for time. I die cut the patterned paper from the largest frame is Peek a Frame. It's got the pretty stitched edging, so that instantly gives my base a nice detail right off the bat. Then I die cut using the rounded 3x4 die from the same Peek a Frame set. Finally, stamp the greeting. Adhere and done! I think this took less than 5 minutes. :)
Here's another quick and easy card. The diamond ornaments are included in the Peace on Earth set. The solid ornaments are stamped using our newest colors from the Creative Color line Coral Burst and Buttercup. The border is from a new standalone die set we'll be introducing called Borderlines Trio. Another 5-minuter. :)
Okay, that's all from us today. See you again tomorrow for MORE!
Just lovely!
