Tiny Ninjas with Pamela

Hello! This is Pamela on the Mama Elephant blog today with a little card featuring Tiny Ninjas. This little ninja was just calling out to be paired with a piece of string for rope, so I made it into a fun swinging ninja! I first masked off an area to blend my background in. I wanted the ninja to be swinging around against the sky so the ninja would pop out against the blue background. I masked off some clouds using the die cut from Sunday Stroll

I framed the card using the scallop die cut from All Prettied Up and adjusted the rope with the ninja to get it swinging the right direction.

I finished off the card with a simple "Thank You" sentiment from the same Tiny Ninjas stamp set.

If you look closely, you'll see some water and white paint splatters against the background!

Crafty Lables with Anna

Hello! Anna is here today focusing on Crafty Labels stamp set. These labels are perfect for making tags for gift wrapping, and I made the project using only this set. And I want to write some tips on making such package.

Mama Elephant Designer Series: Crafty Labels @akossakovskaya #cardmaking #mamaelephant

At first - prepare the boxes for the gifts. I made flat square boxes, the template was printed on heavy weight card stock, fussy cut and glued. Here you can find the template, if you need it. (If to print on Letter size paper, the size of ready box is approximately 3.5 x 3.5 x 1.5 inches).

Now the time to prepare the wrapping paper. I used the waxed paper - stamped the pattern with gray inks and fir branches and bells stamps from the set. After the paper is ready cut it on the pieces and wrap the boxes. For decorating prepare the twine, stamp tags and labels, bells, sentiments ("for you" sentiment has the coordinating die, so you can use it with the foam tape to add more dimensions). The branches are white embossed on the green cardstock and cut - two for each box.

And now the final stage - to finish the decorating for the wrapping. Start with the tying the twine, next step add the labels (I adhered them with the foam tape, and the tag is tied to the twine). Add branches and the bells to the labels, and finish with the sentiment. Have a good day!

Hollow Letters with Laura

Hi there! Laura here and today I have a fun project to share featuring both Hollow Letters and Little Cat Agenda.

Mama Elephant-Hollow Letters & Little Cat Agenda

Cats are like potato chips. You can't have just one:) I love how Vera stamped all of the critters on one card and wanted to do something similar but with a fun sentiment.

Mama Elephant-Hollow Letters & Little Cat Agenda

I saw this adorable T-shirt on etsy and recreated it using the Hollow Letters stamp set. I stamped a few lines in black and embossed a few lines in white. All of the cats were colored with Copcis.

Now we need a puppy set like this and then next a monkey set:) Thanks so much for stopping by!

Crafty Labels with Nichol

Hi there! Nichol here today with an idea on creating kraft holiday gift tags stamped with pigment inks showcasing the new Crafty Labels Stamp Set and coordinating dies. I paired the labels images from the Crafty Labels Stamp Set with greetings from the Retro Holiday Labels Stamp Set for these kraft holiday gift tags. I stamped all the images with pigment inks because the pigment ink won't fade on the "colored" cardstock. I love how the ink colors retain their vibrancy and how the ink looks on kraft cardstock especially.

ME_CRAFTYLABELS1

I stamped the label image from the Crafty Labels Stamp Set on kraft cardstock using Apple Pigment Ink. I used the MISTI stamp positioner tool so I could stamp the image one on top of another a couple times to make sure I got full coverage. I stamped greetings from the Retro Holiday Labels Stamp Set on the tag "fronts" with white pigment ink. I stamped an additional message and "to/from" from the Crafty Labels Stamp Set on the "backs" of the tags with white pigment ink.

I die cut all the labels with the coordinating Crafty Labels Die and then adhered the tags back to back.

ME_CRAFTYLABELS2

I stamped the greenery and bells from the Crafty Labels Stamp Set on kraft cardstock using Mojito and Apple pigment inks. I die cut the images with the coordinating Crafty Labels Dies and adhered t hem to the tags as shown.

I punched holes in the top of the tags using a Crop-a-dile and threaded through red and white baker's twine to finish each tag!

November Product Review

Hello, Hello! Tonight we are releasing 4 new stamps sets and 3 new creative cuts at midnight, EST!

INTRODUCING: Tiny Ninjas

These Tiny Ninjas are finally here! They first debuted in the Simon Says Stamp Masterpiece box in July, and we are so humbled that they've already received so much love!

I've always wanted a ninja set to add to our hero collection so we can all make some kick-butt projects! They were designed in the same sketchy style as Pandamonium, Arctic Penguins and Whale wishes for minimal coloring.

Here, I made a spinner card, using the circle burst from the Columbus Circle Creative Cuts and the Cityscape Creative cuts for the dimensional skyline.

See it spin here on instagram.

Thanks for joining us these few past days with introductions. They will all be released for sale on November 15th at midnight EST.

INTRODUCING: Hollow Letters

Hi all! Today we are introducing the newest set to our alphabet collection, Hollow Letters!
This set is playful and oodles of fun to color!

This set will allow you to color each letter to further incorporate your project's color scheme! Here I put together my own sentiment and matched it with the pudgy kitties from Little Cat Agenda.

A fun time is what I had when I made this card! Remember to come back tomorrow for another introduction!
