Timeless Tulips with Laura

Hi there! Laura here and today I have a fun "loosey goosey" watercolor project to share featuring the beautiful Timeless Tulips stamp set.

 

I started by embossing the Tulips image in clear onto distress watercolor cardstock. 

 

Then using my kraft mat and distress inks I painted the images as well as the background in. I call it my "loosey goosey" technique:)

Party Animals with Nichol

Hello friends! Nichol here today with a pop up birthday card featuring the amazing new Party Animals Stamp Set and coordinating dies. These cute bunnies and chicks are celebrating a birthday in the clouds and the party continues on inside the card with a pop up scene and additional stamped greetings! I love creating cards that tell a story from the front all the way to the inside!

I stamped the Party Animal images on smooth white cardstock using black ink and colored in the images with Copic Markers. Be sure to color a few more images for the inside of the card too! Once the images were all colored, I die cut them with the coordinating Party Animals Dies. Detail was added to the eyes with a black glaze pen and Glossy Accents was added to the noses.

For the background, I trimmed a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock to 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and applied Dried Marigold and Spun Sugar Distress Inks. Once blended, I spritzed the piece with water from a Distress Sprayer and then blotted dry with a paper towel. A greeting from the Surprise Sentiments Stamp Set was stamped in the upper left corner with black ink. The word, "birthday" was colored with Copic Markers and finished with Glossy Accents. Borders were die cut from smooth white cardstock and vellum using a Landscape Trio Die. The borders were layered along the bottom edge and the rest of the scene was assembled as shown. Nuvo Crystal Drops complete the front of the card.

For the inside, I trimmed a panel slightly more narrow than the card base. The top edge was die cut with a Landscape Trio Die. Additional greetings from the Surprise Sentiments Stamp Set were stamped on the inside panel. Two Pop Up Trio dies were used along the seam of the card.

I used the Dried Marigold and Spun Sugar Distress Inks to the inside upper panel to match the front of the card. The inside panel was secured to the inside of the card and additional images were adhered to the pop ups and to the background scene.

STAMP HIGHLIGHT : CONGRATS ALL AROUND

Welcome back to day 4 of Stamp Highlights with the new Congrats All Around set! Another great set to use with our new Congrats Script Creative Cut!

 

The chicks from Party Animals make the perfect accents for this Congrats All Around Card.

 

We love how Deasy combined this set with the Party Animals and the Congrats Script dies to make a fun shaker card

Pamela created this gorgeous rainbow coloured card to highlight the simple and cute frame that frames the sentiment. We love the subtle text in the background!

Welcome back to day 3 of Stamp Highlight with Timeless Tulips! They are here just in time for spring!

We are excited of this beautiful no-line coloring card by Anna!

We love how Deasy combined Mini Tags dies and Mini Messages stamps with this set and colored it with watercolor

These flowers are perfect for any occasion, especially for all the mothers out there for the upcoming Mother's Day.

Vera created a clean and simple card with the Congrats die cut

Nichol water colored the tulips image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and framed up the image with a Park Avenue die cut frame.

Nichol combined Nom Nom Kitties and greetings from the Congrats All Around stamp set for this congratulations engagement card.

Anna was inspired by Nyan Cat game and combined the kitty, the rainbow and the food on her funny card.

 

 We love how Deasy created a cute Thank You card and combine it with Heartfelt Wishes stamp set

Laura created a fun design with die cut windows for each kitty and a fun sentiment from Good Times.

 Pamela made this tall, skinny plaid card using the little sleepy kitty. We love the little food elements circling little kitty!

We love how Vera created a cute scene by combining Words Defined and Nom Nom Kitties stamp set.

For today's Stampede, I'm using the rocking chicks from Party Animals and the new Congrats Script creative cut.

To make the card, I laid down a fun watercolor wash of pink and salmon and added some ink splatters. I die cut Congrats Script and curved it a bit. To finish off the card, I adhere some flat sequins/ I love how colorful they are, adding to the festive little scene!

INTRODUCING: Congrats All Around

 Today we are introducing the new Congrats All Around set, which is full of congratulatory sentiments! Woot Woot and Woo Hoo are some of my favorites!

Here I made Celebration Card with a few sentiments peeking out as you shake the yummy itty bitty candies around! I sure love the sound it makes when the spheres roll around! This bunny from the Party Animals set is ready to be taken away and rise high to the occasion!

INTRODUCING: Party Animals

The dynamic duo from Lil' Painters are back to party! Chicks and bunnies aren't just for Easter anymore as they know how to have some serious fun! Angela designed this fun and festive set to help you celebrate all those happy moments. :)

All the images were colored with Copic markers and die cut. I had colored and cut all the images so I just thought it would be fun to put most of them in one card. The more the merrier, right? The background was blended and splattered with droplets of water to create that cool effect. I finished it off with some Wink of Stella for some a glittery effect.

I left the card black without a sentiment so I could use it for birthdays or any congratulatory occasion later!
