Little Mermaiden Agenda with Keeway

Hi friends! It's Keeway here today and I've got a fun project to share with you. As much as I love making cards, I also like to dabble in other papercrafting projects like tags, envelopes, and packaging, and Mama Elephant makes those projects easy by doing the hard work for us by creating easy to use dies. I'll be using the Venice Envelope Creative Cuts to make these cute little envelopes to hold little messages (or gift cards!).

I started with the Ribbon Banner Creative Cuts, as they fit perfectly within the width of the envelope. In the picture below, I show an assembled banner on the left, and the pieces I die cut on the right. I wanted the layers such that the front portion of the banner had the most layers, so I die cut that piece twice [2], adding my sentiment (from Just A Note stamp set)and ink blending on the foremost layer. I also ink blended the bottom layer [1]. The small pieces representing the back side of the banner [3] were die cut out of kraft card stock.

Next, I worked on assembling the envelopes. The envelope and it's decorative flap were die cut out of pattern paper. My 6"x6" had enough room to also die cut the decorative flap so I easily used up my pieces to create two envelopes.

I then die cut two of the envelope front rectangle out of card stock that I ink blended. The ombre panels matched the coloring of my little mermaidens!

Each of my little mermaidens were stamped in a dark brown hybrid ink and colored with copic markers. Each one differed in coloring! After coloring, I then die cut the images out with the coordinating dies.

To bring it all together, I assembled my envelope with some strong scor-tape, and used liquid adhesive to add each of the panels to the envelope. The banner was added to the center of the front panel, and then I add the mermaidens swimming around it and added with foam tape.
