I had so much fun picking out the Copic colors for my animals – so I thought I’d share the combinations I came up with for the different animals. I’ve written the darkest color first, in case you decide to try them yourself. The animals are listed in order from left to right – now, I am no expert in animals, so forgive me if I couldn’t find the right name for them!
After I had colored all my animals, I die cut them using the matching die and used my white gel pen to add highlights to the eyes and noses.
For my card, I made a gatefold card base in a gorgeous mint color. To keep the card closed I used my Wild Roar animals as a belly band across the front of the card.
I did this by cutting a long strip of white card stock, you can adjust the height of this to your taste, but I used 2 inches. Then all I had to do was wrap the strip around the card, making sure it’s still possible to slide it on and off.
When I glued on the animals, I left a little space at the bottom for my sentiment strip, which I made by heat embossing a Birthday Messages sentiment on a piece of black cardstock (roughly ¼ inch tall).
I love this idea of using it as a belly band!! Thank you for the list of copic colors for each animal!! I love this stamp set and am anxious to try it.
