Lunar Sayings with Amy

Hello crafty friends; Amy here with a slimline scene card for the Mama Elephant Designer Series. My project today features Lunar Sayings, Cherry Blossom Branch, and Zodiac Mouse stamp sets from the recent November release.

To begin making the card, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Lunar Sayings, Cherry Blossom Branch, and Zodiac Mouse stamp sets. After I cut them out with the coordinating Zodiac Mouse CC, Cherry Blossom Branch CC. For the balloon from Lunar Sayings, I used a scissor to cut it out. 

The front panel measures 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches and fits in a 9 envelope. I ink blended the panel with Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachios, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxides. I added splatters of water to create texture.

For the hill panels, I used green cardstock and die cut them with the hill border dies from the Landscape Trio CC and trimmed the sides to fit the front panel. On the shortest hill panel, I white heat embossed the sentiment from the Lunar Sayings.

To assemble the card, I adhered the hill panels and the colored images to the front panel using a tape runner or foam tape.
