Hello friends! Nichol here today with a rainbow felt banner created with the awesome new Whimsy Alphas and Build-A-Banner Creative Cuts Dies! These new dies cut through felt like butter and you can create banners for every occasion and holiday!
For each Build-A-Banner, I used a light felt and a dark felt in the color for a tone-on-tone banner. The lighter felt color was die cut using the solid banner die. The darker felt color was die cut using the oval banner die. The oval was set aside to be used for another project.
The Whimsy Alpha was die cut from white felt.
Each letter was machine stitched to the background as shown. The oval frame banner was stitched to the background banner around the oval opening. I used a sewing machine but you could also hand stitch or use a hot glue gun or fabric glue is you prefer.
The banners were strung together on black/white twine to finish!
