Scene Builder with Thi

Thi here and today I am sharing a project I made for a bestie who I haven't seen in a while. I thought a little snail mail may brighten her day! For today's card, I used Mama Elephant's Slim Card Basics and paired it with Mama Elephant Scene Builder and the adorable Little Girl Agenda and Little Boy Agenda as my town people.
Scene Builder comes with 4 images - you can use one for a simple and quick scene or I've seen others use all 4 images on one card and the results were beautiful. For my card today, I'm going to use 2 - the whimsical trees (which is my favorite) and the little town to create my scene.
To start, I colored my all my images with Copic markers and die cut them with coordinating dies.
For the background, I die cut the stitched rectangle from Slim Card Basics and ink blended with a cloud stencil in Distress Oxide in Shaded Lilac. I then splattered with some Shaded Lilac ink for more interest. For the sentiment, I used the "Sending Hugs" stamp from Paola's Wishes and also stamped it in Distress Oxide Shaded Lilac.
I die cut the scallop rectangle from Slim Card Basics with white card stock and I have all the pieces to assemble my card.
I used a tape runner to tape the cloudy sky piece onto the white scallop. Next I arranged and taped the Scene Builder pieces directly onto the sky. I added foam tape behind each of my Little Agenda Kids and adhered them onto the scene.
To finish, I created a slim card base that's slightly smaller by 1/8 of an inch all around so that it looks like a shaped card....and my card is finished! I love how this fits into a standard side business size envelope!
