Lil Toy Machine with Keeway

Hello! It's Keeway here today bringing you some fun inspiration this Friday with the Lil Toy Machine stamp set! When you were a kid, did you use to spend all your change on these machines? I loooooved these machines!! This set really bring back fun childhood memories.

The first thing I worked on is creating the toy machine with the shaker component. I actually assembled one live in Discord on release night, so you should really join us there, especially during events! I first stamped the toy machine image and colored it in with copic markers. Then, use the coordinating die on it, which will die cut the center out as a window.

Next, you want to use to die to cut the shape a few more times to layer with so that you can create a well for the sequins. I used 4 layers of 110 lb. white card stock here, but you can vary it depending on the thickness of the sequins/items you put in there. Alternatively, you can use thin strips of foam tape, but I do find the cardstock stacking has a much more solid construction.

I filled up the well with some mini balls and iridescent star sequins, along with a few super mini agenda capsules from the set. I cut freehand a small piece of acetate to adhere behind the colored toy machine. This sealed the shaker area to complete the shaker portion of the card.

I ink blended a simple background to give the toy machine a place to sit. I blended the bottom half with Stormy Sky and the top half with Broken China distress oxide inks. The background was die cut using the scallop frame from Slim Window Dressing CC. I heat embossed the sentiment in white in the bottom center. And brought out some Little Bunny Agenda to add some extra fun to this card!

Milk Shake with Thi

Hello, crafty friends! Thi here and today I am sharing a card I made featuring Mama Elephant Milkshake stamp set and Big Best Wishes - Creative Cuts from the January's release! I just love it when Mama Elephant pairs adorable critters with giant sweets! I cannot get enough of these adorable images.

Mama Elephant Milkshake

To start, I stamped and colored my images with Copic markers. I diecut the images with their coordinating dies and set them aside to work on the background and sentiment die.

For the background, I die cut a piece of watercolor paper with the largest rectangle from Basic Rectangles - Creative Cuts to get an A2 size background with those cute stitches on it. I then taped it down onto a board and watercolored with Distress Oxide in Picked Raspberries and Spiced Marmalade. I added some additional splatters of Picked Raspberries onto the background for interest.

While my background was drying, I die cut Big Best Wishes - Creative Cuts in a light blue card stock. I ink blended a little bit with Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers just to give it a fun and interesting gradient. I also used this drying time to mount all my colored images on foam tape.

When the watercolor background was completely dry, I stamped a secondary sentiment from Milkshake onto the card with brown ink. I then assembled my card by adhered the Big Best Wishes sentiment on the card first with glue and then the images with their mounted foam tape. And that's it! Voila! My card is finished!

I hope you all enjoyed my card making process and as always, thank you for reading!

Little Llama Agenda with Amy

Hi! Amy here with a shaker card for my Designer Series project featuring the Little Llama Agenda stamp set and the Oval Deco Frame CC.

To begin, I Copic colored the stamped llamas from the  Little Llama Agenda stamp set and die-cut them with the coordinating Little Llama Agenda CC.

The rectangle frame, the oval frame, the leaves, and flowers were die-cut using the Oval Deco Frame CC.

I used the oval frame to create my shaker. On the front acetate, I heat embossed the sentiment "Oh Happy Day" from the Paola Wishes stamp set. I filled the shaker with jewels and iridescent hearts.

To assemble the card, I adhered the rectangle frame with the leaves and flowers to a top folding A2 size card base. To finish, I adhered the Oval shaker to the middle of the panel as shown.

That's it for today. I hope you enjoyed seeing my project. Thank you so much for stopping by!
