Little Line Agenda with Megan

This is Megan and I am so happy that you came to visit with us today! I have a fun interactive card to share with you featuring one of the gift with purchase sets, Little Line Agenda. This sweet set is so adorable and includes some cuties from the previously released Little Agenda sets.

For my card today, I chose the pups playing in parcels all lined up. I thought that it would be so much fun to make a mail themed design with the coordinating United States Postal Service color scheme. I just love how it turned out!

To begin, I stamped and colored images from Little Line Agenda, Jump For Joy, and Little Dog Agenda Stamp Sets onto 80 lb Neenah Solar White Smooth Cardstock using alcohol friendly ink. I then colored the images with Copic Markers and used the coordinating creative cuts to die cut them out.

Next, I die cut a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock using the frame and mailbox dies from Snail Mail CC. I ink blended them using Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Faded Jeans, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Inks. Once the mailbox had dried, I heat embossed a sentiment from Mixed Wishes Greetings using white embossing powder.

To continue the frame towards the center of the design, I took the postage stamp edged rectangle die cut and trimmed the center out using my paper trimmer. I then attached this piece to the frame using double sided adhesive. I layered a piece of striped patterned paper with vellum to mute the colors, adhered it to the card base, and glued the frame down.

For the interactive element, I die cut the envelope and letter included in Snail Mail CC from white cardstock, colored them with Copic Markers, and stamped a sentiment from Little Line Agenda using the same ink that I stamped the primary images with. I trimmed out a piece of cardstock a bit longer than the width of the letter die and attached it to the bottom of the letter. This creates a stopper so when the recipient pulls the envelope up, the letter stops after the sentiment is revealed. Simple, but a ton of fun too! I finished the scene by glueing down the elements and adding a bit of highlighting with a white gel pen.

I hope that my card has inspired you to get crafty today! Thank you again for visiting the Mama Elephant Blog. I have listed and linked the Mama Elephant products that I used below for your convenience. Have a great day!
