A little Booklet from Jenn Biederman

Morning! Jenn here and today I am sharing an ongoing project I am doing with the More Little Happy Moments class being taught over at Studio Calico by Maggie Holmes. I am in love with her kit that includes a book that is eventually completely altered by yours truly! My book's theme is about happy moments in my DD Haley's life over the last 14 years. I have completed three spreads so far, including the one I am sharing today. I love the Big Words stamp set from ME this month, and had to incorporate them into this altered book in some way. I added the big word "Love" onto a notecard that fits perfectly into the vellum envelope that is sewn on to the base of the layout. I will be adding a note on the back of the notecard. Loving the big words in different ink colors!

The class is set up to give us challenges (topic & technique) each week, so that has been helping me to get my mojo on. The pockets on the left page was done by folding over two pages and sewing them together. I was able to add in a postcard from Haley's grandparents from the year 2003 when these photos were taken, along with a tag of her and Grandma.

Here's a look at the entire spread:

The Today Was stamp was perfect to add to the envelope.

This has been such a fun adventure and if you'd like to see more pages done, please check out my blog here. Be sure to stop back Monday for some more goodies being shared by Nichol Magouirk!
Catch you later!
