Today is the last day of this month's Stamp Highlight and we present you with Up and Away. We really adore our critters here at Mama Elephant and we love that they can take you on an adventure or help "Spread happiness wherever you go." Or perhaps someone out there may just need a little pick me up.
Now lets be carried away by our fabulous Design Team!
On this card Jenn created the effect of the monkey
floating down after losing the majority of his balloons. This works well
with the "hang in there" sentiment from this set. The balloons were
colored in with Copics and a touch of glitter was added to make the pink
balloons sparkle.
Mariana made a CAS card by using different color ink for the umbrellas. She then used Glossy Accents on the hearts from Sunny Skies
Savannah used several stamps from this set to create a
fun and whimsical card for anyone who needs to be cheered up. She also
used the masking technique to create that vertical sentiment. LOVE that
little fox with his yellow belly:)
With the out of frame balloons, Alice makes this set come to life!
JJ made this card with the little monkey flying above the trees (trees
courtesy of Tree Friends). The balloons have been colored with copics
and paper pieced. To get the feeling of floating, the balloons were
adhered off the card front.
Cheiron used Distress Ink and watercolor paper to make
her "clouds" background panel. She then colored in the balloons and
bunny with watercolor pencils
As a non-coloring
stamper, Lea decided to stamp everything in white onto kraft cardstock
for this card...then added a pop of color through the jewels in the
balloons!
