Designer Series: More Origami with Geralyn Sy!

Hi everyone! Geralyn here today and I'm sharing a spread I put together for my travel mini book. I love the new Origami stamp set a lot, and since origami originated from Japan, the stamps made me think of my past trip to one of my favorite countries. I pulled out my unfinished mini book and made this :)

I stamped an origami swan on regular cardstock and cut it out so that I could stick it right on top of my picture. I think it looks cute and matches the photograph of the river.

If I had to pick, the origami crane is my favorite stamp! I used that and the star stamp to stamp a pattern on my journaling card. I used grey ink, but it was still a bit too bold for me and I didn't want the pattern to detract from the single swan above, so I added a sheet of vellum on top of the card. It was an easy way to soften the card yet still let the pattern show. I added a journaling spot and some washi tape before I called it done.

That's all from me today! Hope this inspires you to pull out your Mama Elephant stamps for projects other than cards :) Have a great day!
