First Look: Make a Wish + GIVEAWAY :)

Hola, super super super excited today! I'd like to introduce you to our very first commissioned artist, Pauline Ibarra! Number one has to be really, really good, right? And Pauline's work is nothing short of beautiful and charming -- way above the standard of 'good'! Make a Wish features her impeccable handlettering.

I have been a big fan of handlettering for a long time now and promised myself to one day perfect it as well, but in the meantime I'll leave it to the real pros. Pauline's work caught my eye right away, it's sweet and elegant at the same time. I love all the whimsical swirls she's incorporated. The large style is the perfect focus of any project. You know I'll be turning to these time and time again when I run into those "oh no, I need to make a card in 30 seconds" situations!

GIVEAWAY ALERT! Please visit Pauline's blog Happy Hands Project and leave her tons of ME love, she is giving away a set of 'Make a Wish'!!!

Now let's get into today's cards using Make a Wish!

Love this festive card by Angela. The sentiments in Make a Wish are big, bold, and beautiful!! The balloons were die cut from our Party Kit die set. She also used the new Speech Trio set for the speech bubble border. Panda is from Pandamonium and cut with the new coordinating dies... which I think she's secretly addicted to, lol!

She also used the Wink of Stella glitter brush to give this some sparkle. We carry it now! :)

Okay, now here's my card. I used THIS watercolor cardstock that was sent to me by the sweet Ellen Hutson. I really like it as the back of the watercolor paper is smooth, which is perfect for stamping as supposed to the "real" side which has a toothy texture, more suitable for traditional watercoloring.

That's all from us today... see you back here manana!
