Guest Designer: Rubeena from A Rare Ruby!

Hello, friends! I am back with one more guest post for Mama Elephant. You can find more of my work at A Rare Ruby and my first guest design post for them here. Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you'll like what I have to share :) For my first card, I created a simple scene using Rowdy Raccoons and Hillside Cover Creative Cuts. I know I say this a lot, but this die is super versatile and it's perfect for scenes! I love investing in products like this. I die-cut watercolor paper using the die and added loose watercolor to mimic a clear blue sky and grassy greens.

On separate cardstock, I stamped the raccoon on the bicycle and colored him with the watercolors. I cut him out and added it over the grass with foam tape. Finally, I stamped the sentiment with black dye ink.

For my second card, I used Brushed Florals, Hello Friend Wishes, and Framed Tags - Park Avenue Creative Cuts. It's no surprise, I love Mama Elephant's framed creative cuts. :) First, I die-cut the frame with black cardstock. Then I stamped the images from Brushed Florals with soft inks on white cardstock so that they would peek in from inside the frame. I wanted to use only the word 'hello' from Hello Friend Wishes so I masked off the word 'friend' before adding VersaMark and then heat embossing with gold glitter embossing powder.

I added the sentiment below 'hello' and then matted down the frame with foam tape.
