Marine Friends with Amy

Hello! Amy here with a fun interactive slider card featuring the adorable Marine Friends set.

To begin, I Copic colored the stamped images from the Marine Friends stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating Marine Friends Creative Cuts.

To begin making the front panel, I die-cut a trimmed acetate with a hill die from the Landscape Trio Creative Cuts to make a stencil. I used the stencil to ink blend the sandy ocean floor with Distress Oxides. After I added splatters of the inks that were diluted with water.

To make the waves on the front panel, I used the acetate stencils I made using the Ocean Waves Trio Creative Cuts. Once again, I ink blended it with Distress Oxides. After, I sprayed the panel with water using a Mini Mister to add some texture.

Once the panel dried, I die-cut the center with a large curvy slider die from the Curvy Sliders Creative Cuts and trimmed the panel to 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".

I added doubled layers of foam tape behind the front panel as shown in the picture above. Before adhering, I placed the negative curvy die-cut piece back inside the opening to a top folding card base with the penny inside. On top of the penny, I adhered double foam tape that I cut out into a small circle.

The sentiment "You Make Me Happy" from the Marine Friends stamp set was white heat embossed on the front panel.

To finish, I glued on the colored images and added the larger dolphin to the circle foam tape.

Here's a quick video of the dolphin sliding/swimming around:

That's it for today. Thank you so much for stopping by!
Happy stamping!
Hugs, Amy

  5. On the off chance that you buy a further developed model, you may even have the option to tune into climate gauges that will be significant data for your angling or escape trip. watersports supplier
